DAAD Winter School "E-Learning in the Age of Globalization"
November 23rd – December 3rd 2010
The Winter School "E-Learning in the Age of Globalization" was funded by the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst / German Academic Exchange Service), the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung and the Center for International Cooperation (CIC) of Freie Universität Berlin.
A seminar of six days was dedicated to the various aspects of e-learning and the insititutional dissemination of e-learning. The 22 pariticipants from 20 developing countrys discussed the requirements and obstacles of spreading e-learning in their institutions.
Subsequent the Winter School participants visited the closing conference of the European project e.KnowNet "Science from the Lab to the Public" and Online Educa 2010, the largest international conference on technology supported learning and teaching.
Participants can access the Winter School slides and additional material at the central Learning Management System (Blackboard) of Freie Universtität.
